QUESTIONS

How far in advance should I book my video services?

Generally speaking we ask for a 5-6 week lead for our video production services. This time is spent putting together a storyboard, pre-production prep and scheduling any additional crew (if needed).

Is a deposit required to book your services?

Yes, all video services require a deposit to hold the shoot date. In addition, clients are asked to pay in full prior to the delivery of the final product.

What is your turn around time for projects?

Depending on the size of the project our policy is to have your video finished and delivered within 3 weeks after the shot date. If a rush order is needed we can deliver videos within 1 week for an additional fee. For a more accurate time frame, please contact our staff.

What software do you use? What cameras?

Hugg Media Group uses professional cameras, equipment and software to produce our videos. Our editors use the Adobe Creative Suite for editing, which consists of Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc… When filming, our photographers use Canon cameras. Depending on the projects budget this could be anything from a T5i, 5D MKIII DSLR up to a C100 MKII camcorder.

Do you shoot in High Definition?

Yes. We shoot for the delivered medium. Meaning, if a client needs a video for just YouTube, 1080p is the best option to save our clients money. All video is shot at 1080p minimum. We can accommodate higher resolution up to 4k if your project requires it (additional fee).

What goes into producing my video?

Depending on the project our pre-production involves gathering your ideas, creating a storyboard, script and scheduling the filming day. Once shot everything goes to our editing staff to piece together the raw video. If your video consists of voice-overs or graphics they are added. We contact you to view the first draft to make minor adjustments. Video is now rendered to HD and is ready!

How is my final project delivered?

Videos are typically delivered via USB Stick. However, if the file size is to large it will be delivered on a Hard Drive. We Highly recommend backing up all files when you receive them!

What if I need voice-over work, graphics or models?

In general, we have staff to handle filming, editing and copy-writing for basic scripts. In the event your project requires outside resources, we have several connections with local associations for help sourcing talent (additional fee).
